Show Notes

Join us to hear Bill and Gloria's interview with Dr. Katie Tripp, Director of Science and Conservation at the Save the Manatee Club!

Dr. Tripp started her journey earning her Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Environmental Policy, before moving on and earning her Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences from the University of Florida. Before joining the Save the Manatee Club, she worked as a biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission's Marine Mammal Pathobiology Laboratory and as a Manatee Consultant for one of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Projects.

Listen in as Bill, Gloria, and Katie talk about topics such as marine conservation, safe boating practices and how you can do your part to make sure our manatee population stays safe.

Did you know that remains of manatee ancestors show they have inhabited Florida for about 45 million years?

If you love manatees and making sure they stay safe as much as we do, then this episode is for you!
